Seven on Seven — April 17th
Ok, this looks seriously awesome. It’s an event called Seven on Seven. The site describes the concept concisely:
Seven on Seven will pair seven leading artists with seven game-changing technologists in teams of two, and challenge them to develop something new —be it an application, social media, artwork, product, or whatever they imagine— over the course of a single day. The seven teams will unveil their ideas at a one-day event at the New Museum on April 17th.
Based on info from a couple of tweets back and forth with @hmason, all the projects must be done in 24 hours, and there is no restriction on code libraries or frameworks.
Unfortunately I’ll be out of town for the event, so I can’t make it. But, do check it out. Best of luck to Josh Schacter, Andrew Kortina, David Karp, Hilary Mason and everyone else involved.
