Facebook Fan Pages

I don’t understand Facebook Fan Pages (and would love for that to change).  What’s the biggest thing that fan pages do for businesses?  Anyone have any examples of well-executed fan pages that a business would deem successful?

  1. ninakix answered: idk, the only thing i’ve been curious is about glee’s multimedia effort - including asking their stars to twitter and tumblr. fans like it.

  4. cyreynolds answered: I would say HBO and AMC both do an excelent job of keeping interest in their shows. Asking for favorite quotes, keeping fans up to date, etc
