Thanks to those of you who signed the Free the Airwaves petition that I mentioned last week. The FCC approved the use of high quality spectrum between broadcast TV channels to be used for innovation in an unlicensed fashion. It’s a terrific outcome.

When I voted today I voted on a Mechanical Lever voting machine (AKA a “direct recording voting system”). It was a pretty cool system. The lever made a loud KA-CHANG as you pull it back and forth.
